I've been building the family archive of old pictures/negatives/slides. I came across this one with my daughter 33 years ago. Hard to believe it's been that long. She loved riding around the front yard with me. Hug'em and kiss'em while they are young, they grow up too fast. I miss that.

I know what you mean there... The first time one of my sons passed me on the MX track and made it stick it was a proud papa moment, followed very closely by an 'I'm getting old ' moment.

I think it's Co Rd 526 dead ends at 2738 where there's this big spread and it has a couple camels on it. Daughter and I were on a short 70 mile run and she had to stop to take pics. Camels are here fav animal....who figures?

I have three girls, no boys. I'm getting paid back for every ****** thing I did when I was a punk kid.

Oldest is 21, lives in College Station and is attending A&M. She used to ride with me a lot every summer when she was younger but now school, work, and hardheads tie up her time. She came in this summer and actually showed intersest in my new TW. She took it around the back yard for an hour or so. Said she was "honing her skills" since it's been years since she rode. Her gear didn't fit her any more either.

This is the middle one. She is 2 1/2 years old here. 6 now. She is banking on a new CRF Fiddy this Christmas.

No pics of the baby but, she loves riding too and will probably get the most benefit from the Fiddy purchase.

I FINALLY got one of me and my dad too!!! This past yesterday I was able to go home and see my family. After all day of lunch with the girls, I stopped by my older sisters house and low and behold here rolled in my dad, who after he dropped me off at my bike when and dropped off my little sisters, ran home and changed, put on his DO-RAG helmet, fingerless gloves and vest,, cranked up his 30 year old Gold Wing and hauled bootie over to try and catch be before I headed out to give me an escort out of town.. all in the time that it took me to meet my 5 month old niece for the first time..lol

It was a Good Friday,, Good Friday ride!!!

Watched the DVD of Twilight this weekend with the soon-to-be-stepdaugher, who loves to ride on the motorcycle. The whole time I was thinking of this thread I read on ADVrider. It relates to this thread so here you go...

Taken last year when Abby was 3 years old.

She loves to sit on the bike and pretend to ride but I don't allow her to get near it when I'm not supervising her. I'm afraid of her getting burned on the hot pipes after my coming home from a ride more than her scratching it.

Ok so I took my Daughter on here first motorcycle camping trip this weekend.

And being the Ultra-Super Dad that I am, I let her roast marshmellows again after breakfast.

Stick pole fishing and playing in the mud

While we were their a bird built a nest in the bike.

We lucked out and didn't get rained on. When all was done we did about 70 miles and a night of priceless memories.
