Pops and I have been on several trips since i bought my bike in febuary! The ride has brought us closer than i ever imagined! :mrgreen:

since i have sold my bike, pops made a surprised visit to my house last night to take me for a ride!!!!! :mrgreen: we had dinner then made our way out to oklahoma !!! i didnt take any pictures but i couldnt have asked for a better time!!! :rider:

I went thru Mineral Wells yesterday and was able to stop for an early Birthday Lunch with my dad!!!! No bikes this time (note the rain) still great time all the same!!

I really enjoyed the stories and pics everyone has posted....so, my turn...

In May 2005, my wife and 3 kids took a vaction to San Diego. I did some planning and found a DS group that took riders from San Diego into Baja for a 2 day, 1 nite trip. We brought our gear and the DS rental co. provided the bikes.

Here's a pic of my daughter Christina and son Matthew in Baja Mexico.

And, just a few weeks ago, my daughter and I went to practice MX at Cycle Ranch in San Antonio. She loves to ride and race MX. Her dream is to be a pro..but two MX injuries last year really set her back: She is the sweetest person I have ever met:

Someone said it already...don't blink, they grow up fast.

You all have very sweet daughters and I think it's great that you've encouraged them to ride. I didn't start riding again until mine was all grown up, so I don't have those memories...

Anyway, here's Mama-san, me and daughter on the Riverwalk when we flew out from California on vacation...

they grow up WAY to fast. these threads like this remind me of this fact and inspire me to make more time for them. thanks for sharing y'all! :clap:

she HATES when i show these pics of her trying to drive my wife's jeep (5 speed) but i get a chuckle every time i see them. in some of the pics she is trying to pull the jeep down with her weight! :lol2: i'm glad she can't see this!
