Itchy Boots - Kalahari to S America to Alaska to Africa to Asia

Today's Lost while on an island in Panama is probably the best video I have seen of hers. What a beautiful ride.
I need her to start reporting on wifi speed and quality. I could definitely go spend like a month living and working in that place she is staying. Imagine working from that balcony.

I work hard on every episode that I make for my YouTube channel, but on the next one, I think I took triple as long. I think it’s the best episode yet, this season

I go to the river Teribe, to meet the Naso people, who live alongside the banks of this river. They still have their own Kingdom whose King is also recognized by the Panamanian government. They welcomed me with open arms and allowed me an intimate peek into their lives and what they are facing. I felt like I immediately connected with them. All I can say is, don’t miss this episode tomorrow..

Yesterday I was reading the comments on the episode on Bocas del Toro and many people told me I should just chill and relax on the beach a few days. I did in fact stay a few days on the island, but doing something completely different. Besides the fact that I get bored too quickly on a beach and rather ride my bike the whole day instead, I actually worked my entire time there on this episode. Maybe I am just a workaholic and unable to relax and take time for myself, but running my own YouTube channel has given me so much purpose and meaning. I don’t mind working every second on it. In fact, I LOVE IT

I hope you will love it too.

Did anyone see today's episode? When she left her bike to go on the river boat it appeared this guy grabbed her hand and she called him out for it. Maybe I heard it wrong. That must occur some as a pretty woman travels in remote places alone. I hope she remains safe.

Huh, I missed that, had to go back and watch, can't really see what he was doing. Interesting she didn't cut that out of the video.

I thought it was more about the part that he had a 1 liter bike and was giving her grief (playfully) about her 300cc ride. I did note that on the walk to the village and the discussion about the machete that she did admit to carrying a knife.

That's what I got as well.... maybe I'll look again.

Thought she said something like let go of my hand. Notice at gas stations and stores and such dhe is qiite curt with men. This guy she was cutting up with some about the filming. He may have taken as a come on.

I had to go back and watch it again. Can't see anything happening but the tone of her voice definitely changed from playful to warning.

I looked back a few pages and didn't see, what's your YouTube channel ? sounds right up my what I like to watch alley.

Thanks to this thread y'all have me making my way through season 1 of Itchy Boots.

I think it was edited. I listened at 1am and I think I heard something anout "my hand." Anyway I am glad it all worked out. She is a wise lady.

Oh I thought that was a joke about the bike. The guy said I have an 1100 cc bike. Then he said her 300cc was nothing.....she laughs and says hey hey....take it easy my friend. Now I gotta go watch again

That was a quote from Noraly's FB page about her upcoming video. It ties into the conversation a couple of days ago about several us that would choose to stay in that hammock by the sea for a while.

Does it take long to do the drone shots? I guess it follows her. Some really good video. She eats right too. Never seen a can of beanie weenies or Vienna sausage and crackers

I don't know how long she spends on the drone shots. All of the shots of the drone pacing her is done manually by her - no autotrack - even when she's riding.

And she's certainly not afraid to try new foods. I remember when she ate that horrible smelling food that Scandinavians love. It almost made me sick just to watch it. :puke:

Have enjoyed the last few episodes and continue to appreciate the channel over the last few years. However, I feel that some of the titles are becoming a bit "click baity". Just say what you're doing or whatever...

I agree. Also, there's so much to see in Panama, CR, Nicaragua... It seems she's rushing through a little more quickly than I'd prefer. I am living vicariously, after all. (Yeah, I know I need to ride there myself and ride my own ride... Believe me, I want to.)

I lived in Costa Rica and Nicaragua for several years, so I'm particularly interested in her travels there.

Yeah, I wish she could take more time thru Central America.. I think the prospect of Alaskan winters is keeping her to a tighter schedule.

The video titles are annoying. But hey, if they get the clicks, and that funds this project, then okey dokey by me.

Yeah, we are living vicariously through her, so it's tough to be critical. There's just been a few video main titles that got me Uber excited, but the content advertised didn't exist.

This, I'm going to watch regardless of the title, but if it gets more folks to join in and keep her funded and going, then fine by me. Also, it's got to be a pain constantly coming up with new titles other than "Riding in Costa Rica Day 3."

Except that she’s already been to most of those places when she backpacked around the world and lived in a few!
