Ride, Crash, Fly, Go Home.... My Trip to Arkansas...

Hey Marco, invest in a copy of Keith Codes, Twist of the Wrist II, he can explain it a lot better than I can. I enjoyed riding with you, hope to do it again.
I've heard good things about that one, but not read it.

A couple I have and will recommend are:
Proficient Motorcycling by David Hough
Sport Riding Techniques by Nick Ienatsch

Hey Bill,
Sorry to hear about your crash. As bad as it is I am glad it was not worse. If 123 is the road with the massive 180 degree switchbacks, I had a "moment" on the switchbacks with my strom last fall. I was going downhill and locked up the back end into the switchback (funny how the bike does not turn anymore) After that I slowed down on the switchbacks.

Arkansas has great roads, I hope you plan to go back one day.

Here is me at the cliffhouse last fall (yes service and food was not that good).

Two BMW riders (from DFW area, no less) I ran into on Byway 7 that Saturday mentioned the best place to eat is a small place in Jasper. I had already ridden through there so couldn't scout it out, but next time......

I am fully expecting to see his MRIs and X-rays posted in the next couple of days.

Bill,
I was only joking buddy. Any baby pictures you want to post ?

Look on the bright side, if they have to bolt and plate you back together you will have a whole new portfolio fo party tickets with fridge magents.

Heal well and fast.

Just cause I'm a girl, doesn't mean I can't mow the grass. I've done it before you know lol:lol2:

I'm sure you can, but now Biwwy needs to find you an old-time push mower like the one you saw at the gas station in Jasper!

its not the pushing of it.. its the pulling of the sting (to start it) I am going to come over this weekend just to get the yard done.

Nathan...

You go round and round and round...best place to go if your going to exceed the speed limit. Then of course there's the inevitable road trips you take traveling to different tracks. All about perspective friend...and this is mine not having a roadbike atm. ;-)

So, are we having a yard work party on Saturday? I'm in.

Seriously, if Bill needs help with the yard, I'm in. I can bring everything (mower, trimmer, blower, etc.) and I don't live too far from him.

thank you for the offer, but we should be fine, it's a tiny yard;-)

Oh, I do love the track, but if I had to pick either track or road, I'd pick both :deal:
Is Squeaky going to oil the grass??
Hey I may not look like a big girl, but I am on the inside!!!!:trust:
I like to refer to this as the little person complex. Don't call them little or they will beat the every loving snot out of you
big things come in small packages ;)
