There's actually not that much excess if he's got old bones. Full size camping chair, two sleeping pads, etc. What he needs is large panniers mounted down low on each side. They would eat up most of what's he got. Wrong gear choices and bad packing up high instead of low is his problem.

In case you were waiting.... $25,999 MSRP

Hopefully the radio is loud enough too! :lol2:

@OldTLSDoug looks like a new cousin for one of your bikes is coming out. The video at the link shows them riding on ice with studded tires as well as dirt. Not sure how many here may have ever had the opportunity to ride with studded tires on ice but it might just be the most fun you can have on a motorcycle. At least it seems like it when you have not ridden for sometime due to the weather and the ice finally gets thick enough. Traction is so consistent it allows you to do things you normally would not try, or at least that is the case for me. Nt much ice footage there but still worth checking out.

I remember seeing Detroit Diesel outboards around 50 years ago , an outboard motor you could set on the front of a barge to steer with , remote controlled from the tug pilot house

"Still amazed that this is at 180mph dow the front stretch !"

Watched some bagger races the first year they were running , just recently a new sport channel came on the tube showing them , they have come a ways and the riders flicking those bikes through the S curves make it look easy
