The weather turned out almost perfect.

We couldn't find our way to Cypress Creek Rd once off 187. We roamed around and may have found the right road after searching for an hour or so but by that time some hunters showed up so we decided to try another day. If anyone has the GPS tracks for it I would appreciate you sending them to me.

Among others we did Seco Creek, N. Little Creek to B&R, then Kent Creek, ran into RG, John and another rider down in the creek bed. Then back up 336 to Bullhead Rd. Today Cedar Creek and White Mountain, Hackberry Rd, back up Bullhead, and lastly Seco Creek again.

Man we have some great roads to ride in the hill country, paved and dirt.

Oh, and what a joke Timbercat wanting to ride in the slow group. What a sandbagger, he can ride!

This doesn't include the exploration of Kelly Ranch trying to find Cypress Creek Rd.

Had a great time hanging out with some new friends. Made it back to houston will post up my pics later.

Big thanks to sanderjavant for leading the ride.

:trust:What a great ride. :eek2: Best of all was meeting and riding with some great riders. Sanders you can lead my rides any time. What a rider. Thanks guys for putting up with this old man

Yeah I tried to get him to cross like everyone else but the buck told me he didn't want to cross the slimy concrete. Several years ago he fell down and the other deer started calling him, MossDeer...

Yeah , but would they still let him come out & play ? I was laughing so hard my wife had to help me up off the floor! :haha: What a GREAT RIDE :thumb: I also like the shot of VANCEAMOSS :nana: GREATSHOT! Sander :photo: Thank's for putting this ride togather & leading the way it was truly an EXCELLENT ADVENTURE! - MR

It was great having the Houston riders make the trip west. Super nice people and great riders. Hope to get over ur way and ride the big piney soon. Let me know when you next head that way:clap:

Wish that I would have been able to make it. Looks like a lot of fun.

Thank you for posting the routes, I will have to try them out next time I am down that way.

After our workout Doctor Z and I headed west.

Gravity can be a real pain in the butt. Bill was okay but he landed hard had some minor cuts on his hands and maybe a broken toe.

We all had breakfast at Sisters in Camp Wood (good food)

Overnight Bill's hands swelled up as well his foot he decided it would be best if he call it Quits for this weekend. Doesn't matter how good a rider you are sooner or later you will go down. (Richard is a good rider) His wife came and picked him up she was great.

Doctor Z and I had to cut off early due to a bearing issue. DZ road 92 miles on a bad bearing and this is what I look like when we got to the truck. Ouch

Hi Guys,
I had a great time, thanks for the memories. Can't wait till next time. Got to go due some family issues. V>>>

Thanks for the great pix and report. Surely a pleasure to meet the Nueces gang...and what better place for a bunch of DS'ers to stop and visit than the scruffiest part of Kent Creek road. We'll all cross paths again. :rider:

Special thank's to Jbay for having an extra 650l clutch lever  You saved the day Jbay :thumb: Am sure VANCEALOT appreciate's it

Thanks for all the pics guys. They are great! Looks like my brother in Okla. is gonna come down soon and we intend to ride that area. He looked at your pics last night and was so pumped said he couldn't sleep last night! He is 56 years young and last night was like a 6 year old on Christmas eve. LOL

I was really bummed I could not ride this weekend with you guys. But life just gets in the way sometimes. Looks like you had a great ride. Hope Richard is ok. Any update?? That will make this novice take it easy.

All my pic's

Just a clarification: It was me (Bill, not Richard) on the blue 2008 KLR that went down on Saturday afternoon. I actually ended up with one dislocated toe, 1 broken toe, and 3 broken bones in my left hand and 2 in my right hand. Seemed like a lot of damage for such a small crash. That's more damage than I ever did in my younger days as a Pro Motocross racer in Southern California circa 1965-1975... Oh well, I'd do the ride again in a heartbeat. I should be back in riding shape in 3-4 weeks or whenever they take (or I cut) the casts off. Looking forward to our next dual-sport ride.

OK I'm starting to plan the "Bill back on a bike ride"
