A true racer, if you want to win the first broken bone competition you go all out.

What a drag on the casts...hope they heal faster than expected. Like Valentino Rossi.

Old Bill came by today and he'll be ready when you are.

WOW!.....I didnt think it was that bad.....WOW!.....my hand's hurt all of a sudden. GET WELL SOON BILL!

Oh man, I really want in on the next trip. Nice pics by everyone.

Did anyone get a shot :photo: of sander parting the "Sea of Santa Gertrudis" ? Im glad those cattle were TAME!

Well guys, methinks that the obvious has not been said here on this site yet... that Mr. NewBill, and I mean Mister:hail: IS ONE TOUGH OLD BIRD! I am definitely no spring chicken at 53, but if that were me back there in Camp Wood with multiple broken bones, I'd have been way more delusional than usual!

I propose a royal toast to our intrepid riding buddy Bill! And until we are all back on the trail together Bill, keep on pinching those pretty nurses and tell them the OT's told you it's your therapy! :trust: Vance

My God Bill, sure hope you dont get an itch where you need to scratch.
I'm only few miles, if there is anything ........ I'll be there....:zen:

Newbill is " More human than human " Cast's to his fingertip's a double shot of percocet & he can still type on his keyboard, he's some kind of SUPERHUMAN :borg:

VANCEALOT hurt his hand also :tears: he did'nt get any cast's :shame: but he is holding a pencil with his teeth & Pecking like a chicken at his keyboard......BAUK-AUCK....cock-a-dudle-do!

Think we need to schedule a Tech Day when NewBill is ready. :rider: I'm not much of a wrench turner but can fetch beer like a pro....

Careful when you say " Tech Day " VANCEALOT might think it has something to do with Texas Tech.....Next thing you know he'll want to put on a " RUTGERS DAY " Siminar :cool2:

Guys, this is a "Serious As A Heart Attack Alert." Based on Moss-Head's recent incoherent postings, I believe that during "the ride" he got confused :loco: between roosting mud and his precious few brain cells! On the next ride we better play it safe and implement a Watch-Steve-Rotation. :uhoh: V>>>

VANCEALOT :eek2: Remember when i helped pick-up your bike & dropped it on the " other side " .....OK almost dropped it.

It sure was a lot of FUN! It was good to ride with you guy's from H-Town & the guy's from Waco also. Still thinking about the ride. :rider:

Well, typing is a real pain. However, that's what I do mostly for work. I think I may have to ask the surgery dept to modify my casts as this is totally unbearable. Don't know what the response will be.

Mr New Bill

Mr. New Bill,
Just a short note to say that I hope you heal fast, the surgery dept can make those modifictions and your rapid typing returns. But, if that doesn't happen I believe a Dualsport-Tech-Day at your residence or "fine establishment" of your choice is in order asap set things right. Of course this top-secret mission will be on a need to know basis and conducted by authorized personnel only. :thumb: Vance

Cant wait till the next ride , got a KLR hwy bar from MULTISURFACERIDER (thank's calvin) gonna make it fit the sikk-fiddy-el. it'l be mo-betta next time! :rider:

Well Mossy-Butt, ya better watch :roll:out cause the Snipe might get You or you just may Be The Snipe! :eek2: V>>>

Pic.Sez: " What's wrong with this picture " - Besides Richard losing his license plate & inspection sticker , the REX KELLY RANCH road was supposed to go through..........it did'nt..........who say's you cant get lost with GPS , this was the real Adventure part of this ride for me because i had never been down this road before. Two rider's went to scout the road.....10 min. ..........20 min. ..........30min. ..........The've been gone a long time! shouted one rider , Yeah we better go look for them said another so off we went..........for quite some time..........then we came to a " Y " in the road & could'nt tell which way they went ? no track's - no nothing hmm? which way did they go? which way do we go? hmmm? now my MANTRACKER skill's are kickk'in in, but there are no sign's at all , so we just kept going , were leaving a trail behind us , but there's no trail in front of us , im thinking to myself they did'nt come this way. we turned around & went back only to run into the PROPERTY MANAGER he said no pardner this road don't go through. & i said SORRY SIR! i think were lost? and he said , yeah i reck'in , he was a pretty cool dude! plus when you take your helmet off & they see grey hair , all of a sudden they like you! then the other rider's showed up & i said THOSE ARE THE GUY'S WERE LOOKING FOR! we said sorry sir 100 times & then rode back to the hwy. IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN !!!!!!!!!! :rider:

Pic.sez: "This was fun." - :rider: That boy's & girl's is KENT CREEK ROAD one of the KNARLY'IST , most AWESOME bumpity bump , clankity clank , moss covered , rock covered stuff everywhere limestone trail you will ever ride on. This creek trail & i mean TRAIL is WICKED And it will try to knock you down every inch of the way!.........Untill you get out of the creek bed which is part of the road , hence the name Kent CREEK Road & get back onto the somewhat civilized trail your begging for after about a 1/4 mile! This was the hardest part of the ride...no doubt. I remember the first time i went on kent creek rd , Im following MULTISURFACERIDER were taking it easy putting down the trail , checking out all the scenery & stuff , all of a sudden MSR take's a left into the brush & dissapears! What The ?? I think he went this way? were on a perfectly good road then he goes off into the brush , so i followed him & im thinking to myself , SELF! THIS AIN'T NO ROAD , IT'S NOT EVEN A TRAIL! were on some farmer's ranch & were probably gonna get SHOT-AT!.....well everything turned out O.K. but i promise you , you'll never forget Kent Creek Rd. - MR :rider:

Sounds like fun!

I would be happy to host a dual sport tech day/BBQ at my place here in San Antonio. Just need to wait tilll my broken bones are healed so I can actually work on the bikes and cook the food as well as heft up a beer or two. I've already been back to the doctor to modify my 2 casts and have made some custom modifications myself! Probably won't be ready to hold a mass gaggle until after Christmas.

PS I have a bunch of deer and hog meat in the freezer waiting to be smoked on the BBQ so lets plan on an early January ride and post-ride get-together.
