"Name that movie II"

(me, aboard the actual movie bike (with papers to prove it)

The upcoming The Best Bar In America. The trailer looks pretty darn good.

Just rented SKYFALL with Daniel Craig as superagent James Bond. Why can't they just have a normal motorcycle chase scene. Great stunts but............

The Ural sidecar outfit in the movie Garden State.
Here Natalie Portman hangs on to Zach Braff.
Portman (Black Swan), though a principal character,
was not even a first billed cast member in the 2004 Garden State.
Braff wrote, directed and appears in every scene of what
some describe as a generation defining film
comparable to The Graduate.

How about the Yamaha XT 250 in the 1st Rambo movie "First Blood". It was a 1981 model. I had a 1980 model, same color scheme red and white.:rider:

An officer and a gentleman 1982 Richard Gere and Debra Winger, a Triumph, was it duel or single carb. Debra is a great actress and hot. She starred in one of my top ten Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins. The life of CS Lewis. Wonder if CS ever stradled a Britt. Bike?

The Brough Superior SS100 in the opening scene and fatal crash of Lawrence of Arabia.

Big Jake (1971)

One of his son's is supposed to be riding early 1914ish HD. However, at least the motor in the closeup pics was not HD.

There were a couple of different "Big Jake" HD's with Montesa motors. One used a lot of HD bits to appear correct and the "Jump Bike" was a a heavily modified Montesa to look like a HD.

I really like the scene in Magnum Force where Clint is riding the SFPD Moto Guzzi that turnes into a Triumph when he jumps and then back into a Goose again. Pretty slick.

This 1973 movie had the three vigilante motor cops on 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado V7 850 Police Specials. Guzzi had only come out with the big twin in 1971 for the Italian police and got a huge break when the Los Angeles police ordered them. That gave them their start in the United States, in my opinion.

The picture below is from the scene under the bridge when the pimp is murdered.

The picture below looks like it is from the scene at the beginning of the movie leading up to the swimming pool massacre.

A young, pre-Three's Company Suzanne Somers gets topless in that scene in an uncredited role.

Movie trivia! I haz it!

...I have to admit one of the greatest all-time scooter scene has to be in the film classic Dumb & Dumber.

:lol2:

That same model of Guzzi has been in three other movies from the 1970's, all of which take place in California:

Harold and Maude

Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke

Also in the movie FM (one of my favorite "fun" movies to watch) alongside a HD motor, but couldn't find any online photos.

There's a boatload of bikes in Deathwish IV.

Yamaha in Marcus Welby M.D.

Triumphs in Coogan's Bluff

Kevin Kline plays the role of a French crook, Luc Teyssier,
in this 1995 romantic comedy with one of my favorites, Meg Ryan. I adore her.

Here, Kline escapes in a very brief scene on a 1994 Cagiva Roadster 521.

Francis Ford Coppola's film noir Rumble Fish casts Matt Dillon and Mickey Rourke as rebels without a clue.
Rourke, The Motorcycle Boy, makes a grand entrance by sending a Kawasaki KZ 440 LTD into a loading dock.

Later, he steals a 1982 Kawasaki GPZ 550.
At the end of the movie, Dillon rides it into the night.

A few other motorcycles of no consequence that appear include
a Harley-Davidson FLH, a Honda Gold Wing and a Kawasaki KZ 1000 Police.

In the first Rush Hour movie in 1998, Special Agent James Carter
played by Chris Tucker seizes a Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport
from a reluctant rider to chase down a suspect.

James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) flogs a BMW R 1200 C in Tomorrow Never Dies.
In spite of brilliant product placement, the BMW cruiser was a marketing flop.
