New Africa Twin debut?

Still would had been waiting on this if the white was coming to US.
Can't wait to see one in the flesh!

I too am disappointed that we aren't getting it in white. For me it would be hard to buy one, choosing another color, knowing how good the white looks.

There has been a lot of folks saying they prefer the white. I like the all black too, which also isn't a U.S. color for 2016.

Some speculate that white could be available here in the next model year, which might mean in the dealers as early as end of Summer 2016.

And this "Adventure Sport" Concept of the AT with larger tank, flat seat, and lots of different trim pieces.

Might be worth the wait to see if this goes into production for 2017

I don't have a clue who the writer is. But if he even halfway knows what he's doing, the AT is going to be a much better adventure bike than most of us have given credit, on this forum. As for the DCT, technology changes. There was a time when I refused to use auto and preset modes on a camera. Eventually, I learned to trust the camera and give my attention to other details. And so goes automotive engineering.

Enjoy your AT.

Cyril Klopper is an ADV rider and writer out of South Africa. He's pretty well known in the X Challenge community for some creative rides and mods on his bikes. Always worth the read.

Man...I was kind of hoping to hear that this was another bloated touring bike that only maintained its adventure Fred by being capable of handling fire roads and such. Now I have to actually list after one.

I have not bought a brand new bike since 1980.

The Africa Twin might be the bike to break that streak.

Where did that come from? Is that flat black? I still want the white one
I have no idea where the pic came from. Yes, the Africa Twin comes in flat black but not for the US.

Well, not stock for the US anyway... [emoji6]

I'm considering having it painted. Shouldn't be too expensive considering the small surface area.
